l3HW vs Cluster IP

Thu Dec 01, 2022 9:33 am

Hi

I have a problem with cluster ip being available from other vlan (routing), in current vlan cluster ip is available anyway when option in switch chip on CRS317-1G-16S+ is enabled (/interface/ethernet/switch/set switch1 l3-hw-offloading=yes). When the option is enabled when the cluster ip goes from node 1 to node 2, the cluster ip becomes unavailable.

When L3 HW Offloading=no option is disabled, the cluster ip from node 1 to node 2 moves normally.

In L2 segment everything works without any difficulties.

Need some help.

ROS v7.7beta9 (just released) includes this entry in change log:
*) l3hw - fixed host offloading in a case of MAC address change;
I guess it applies to your problem.

Hi

Thank you very much, RouterOS 7.7beta9 solved the problem.
