Problem with signal LHG 60G

Fri Dec 09, 2022 6:21 pm

Hello, first of all I am a total beginner, so please dont tell me advanced stuff because I probably wouldn't understand.
I have this radiolink for 6 months, set for 600m and when there is no rain or snow it works extremely well but when is raining hard signal goes off sadly. Even now in great weather in graphs it doesnt look good (ss1) but I have 500/30Mbs so as it should be. I thought that maybe i should align the antenna better but do 1.4deg and 0.2deg make such a difference (ss2) and when i even move the antenna slightly the signal goes totally off and the arrows on the device dont shine. Stability is my priority so i would really like to fix it. Thank you.

hello.
As you asked "without any advanced"
60Ghz links will always drop in heavy rain, or if a dish is covered with snow. If you need 100% link, add a 5Ghz antenna to back it up (LHG60G can work at longer distance, but adjustment is rather advanced)
Your antennas is a very narrow beam, but it can adjust itself a little, so just point it to each other and if it works stable, leave it as it is
