Weird IP routing drop for 10 seconds

Thu Dec 22, 2022 10:56 am

I have got a weird problem between two Tiks.

I have a CCR1036-8G-2S+ running 6.49.6 which has a simple BGP to the ISP to get 2 C classes.
That connects and distributes some subnets via a /30 link to a CCR2004-16G-2S+ running 7.5
I also have some private IP ranges just IP routed on the same /30 link

Now the weird bit is randomly the /30 link seem to not route for about 10 seconds every 3min then it resumes.
On the IP route tab all the routes via the /30 link go blue together

I have tried changing tiks, cables you name it and nothing solved the problem that IP route just had breaks.

Out of desperation to trouble shoot I setup a ping to the link end in a terminal on the CCR1036-8G-2S router and when I do that the problem disappears.
So I thought fine I will just put ping on for each of the static routes to the link end ... that doesn't solve the problem.

The only solve I have found is to make sure that a terminal window is open pinging the link end.

Anyone got thoughts what I could try?
