I configured a 951 unit as a Home AP from the QuickSet menu in Winbox. WAN-port (1) is connected to a fiber modem, and the LAN ports (as a switch) support local units. All seems fine, except watching net-TV. Have found that I need to enable IGMP to make this work.
Have downloaded the needed add-on and installed it, and have IGMP in the Bridge menu in Winbox.
Have also tried to add IGMP via console commands:
/interface bridge
add igmp-snooping=yes multicast-querier=yes name=bridge1
This created a new bridge with all LAN-ports.
Questions:
Guess I should delete the "old" bridge that was created in the QuickSet?
Do I need to do anything else?
I haven't been able to test if it works yet, but would like to be prepared if it doesn't work as expected.
Thanks!
P.S.
I've used Mikrotik for a long time, but mostly as Wifi APs and clients + simple firewalls...
