I have a few questions on Mikrotik Chateau as I'm trying to improve 5G signal quality using an external antenna.
The first question is related to the connectors on the back of the device. They are named Antenna 1 to 4 but there are only SMA connectors on connectors 2 and 3 which are used by the small antennas provided with the device.
If we want to connect external outdoor ones, shall we disconnect the small internal ones to replace with the external ones or there is a better way to do it ?
The second question , I purchased the mANTS 15 with the 5G router but using it doesn't provide better signal quality. Does anyone know if this antenna is to be used for 5G access ?
If not what other external antennas could be used ?
