I have a network inventory scanner that shows connected devices via SNMP, but I noticed that the list for the CSS610-8G-2S+ is wrong with an offset of one.
When reading the SNMP directly I find multiple entries like this:
Code: Select all
iso.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.2.24.253.116.decimal.mac.address = INTEGER: 8
The devices are connected on SFP1 which according to this (shortened) list should be id 9:
Code: Select all
iso.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.1 = STRING: "Port1"
iso.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.8 = STRING: "Port8"
iso.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.9 = STRING: "SFP1"
I also have multiple devices connected on Port1 appear like this:
Code: Select all
iso.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.2.24.253.116.decimal.mac.address = INTEGER: 0
But there is not even a port with the id 0 in the list.
When comparing SNMP output of a RouterOS-device the mapping of integer and id matches there.
So I guess the integer should be increased by one...
