CCR2116 - Issues with VLAN (Q-n-Q) and bonding

Thu Jan 19, 2023 8:57 am

Hello
I have a 2116 running smoothly.
we use:
sfpplus1 and sfpplus2 in a 802.3ad bonding, hardware offloaded in the bridge, working OK.

sfpplus3 was a 10G interface where we have q-n-q vlans, working OK.
We have the inner VLANS bridged together in a bridge, and it is correctly working NAT, firewall, ip neighbours discovery and so on.

We added a second port (sfpplus4), 10G interface.
I created a 802.3ad bond using interfaces sfpplus3+4 - I moved the outers VLAN from the sfpplus3 to the bonding interface.
Everything works, the traffic flows, It seems OK but there is an issue.

In the IP neighbours discovery I no longer see the remote routers on the inner vlans.
The neighbours discovery is set to !Dynamic. Even if I set it to all, no difference.
From the remote router, I can see the 2116.
There is not PPPoE involved, just plain dhcp ipoe.

All the VLANs (inner) are inside the bridge as they were before. they works, everything works, except the neighbour discovery.

I tried the following:

I removed the bonding from the hardware bridge (using it in software), no difference both on CPU or in other facilities.
I tried to put the bond in the same bridge with all the vlans, just to try, no avail. The ip neighbour discovery no longer works.
what can I check ?
