how to use multiple ip's from one wan?

Wed Jan 25, 2023 4:15 pm

Hi everyone
I have one WAN with ip address: 192.168.1.0/24 and setup pppoe profile, i want any idea because i'm confused to nat every profile to ip address included in the range of wan, for example

profile 1 (10.0.10.0/24) to 192.168.1.2
profile 2 (10.0.20.0/24) to 192.168.1.3
profile 3 (10.0.30.0/24) to 192.168.1.4

any help please

Say what? what you said makes no sense. What do you mean by different profile numbers. I assume that this router is downstream of some other router since 192.168.1.0 is not a public IP.
What are you trying to accomplish?

My isp ip is 192.168.1.1/24
i want each profile i did in pppoe server nat through different ip

like this scenario
profile 1 with ip range (10.0.10.0/24) - nat to 192.168.1.2
profile 2 with ip range (10.0.20.0/24) - nat to 192.168.1.3
profile 3 with ip range (10.0.30.0/24) - nat to192.168.1.4

Hi,
To NAT each PPPoE profile to a different IP address, you will need to configure your router or firewall to perform destination NAT (DNAT). DNAT allows you to redirect incoming traffic from a public IP address to a private IP address.

You can set up DNAT rules on your router or firewall to redirect incoming traffic from your WAN IP (192.168.1.1) to the different IP addresses for each PPPoE profile.

For example, you can set up a DNAT rule to redirect incoming traffic on port 1723 (PPTP) to 10.0.10.0/24 to 192.168.1.2. Another DNAT rule to redirect incoming traffic on port 1723 (PPTP) to 10.0.20.0/24 to 192.168.1.3 and another rule to redirect incoming traffic on port 1723 (PPTP) to 10.0.30.0/24 to 192.168.1.4.

The specific steps to set up DNAT will depend on the router or firewall you are using, so you should refer to the device's documentation for instructions on how to set up DNAT.

It is important to note that you will also need to configure port forwarding rules to allow incoming traffic to reach your PPPoE profiles.

Who said your ISP allows you to use anything else then 192.168.1.1 ?
It does not mean that if you see some /24 mask somewhere that you can use that whole block. Check with your ISP for confirmation.

Hi Christian,
it works properly but i don't need to specify some ports only, i need all traffic
