Basic settings for the home (RSC file)

Wed Feb 01, 2023 3:14 pm

Does anyone have an RSC file with which I can easily configure the mikrotik for home use please? DHCP, POE power control, network overview. Just the basics?
Thank you very much.

RouterOS is nearly universal but use has model variations.
Your complete MikroTik model number helps a lot.
Adding your current RSC shows what's missing.

The default settings get you mostly there, once you understand them then you are ready to receive advice.
If you dont understand them post what you have and start asking questions. There is no right answer there is always learning.

/export file=anynameyouwish (minus router serial # and any public WANIP information )

I have RouterOS 7,7 and type router is 750UP.
I have set up DHCP, WAN internet as well, but I don't know how to set up POE power control for external devices. I have two IP cameras that I would like to connect to POE and be able to disconnect the device remotely from POE thanks to the router.

It's more like you need a teacher than someone who can help you with a "simple" script (the .rsc)

@vecerapl Are you using the Command Line Interface by now? If not, which interfaces are you using?
