CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ + ( XS+DA0001 or SFP+ 10G ) + CRS312-4C+8XG-RM with a S+RJ10 plugged into any 1 gigabit device produces no more then 700 Mbps.
CRS312-4C+8XG-RM is running switchOS
All firmware is current stable.
Turned on flow control on the router port. No difference. The router shows tons of RX Pause frames.
WHat am I missing..
So a 10G router > 10G switch > 1 G device = 700 Mbps...
But doing a CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ + ( XS+DA0001 or SFP+ 10G ) + CRS326-24G-2S+ = 990mbps
So 10G router > 1 G switch > 1G devices = 990mbps
Is the 10G switch or the 10G router not doing flow control correctly ? Or, whew, Im confuzed.
Separately, but maybe related..
Putting a S+RJ10 into the CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ and hooking up 1G devices produces 700 mbps, UNTIL, you uncheck auto negotiation and then turn it on again, then its 990.
I tried doing this trick with the 10G switch, but, no help.
Well.. The XS+DA0001 does not auto negotiate. You must do manual at 10G.
I tried for 5 hours on the phone and had people rearrange things as I was remote connected. I cannot find a way to get any more then 700Mbps out of the 10G + 10G + 1G device.
