I am looking to deploy RB4011iGS+RM in a 48v DC environment. I was thinking of cutting the connector off the included 24v 1500ma power supply and connecting it to a 48v power supply with a 1amp fuse. Since the included power supply is rated at 24v @ 1500ma, I would think that running the 4011 on 48v means that the amperage draw would be cut in half to a max of 750ma. Is this acceptable and is the barrel connector rated for this? I see that mcmaster-carr sells Barrel 2.1mmx5.5mm connectors that are actually spec'd at 48v @ 5amps so this would probably be my backup plan if the included barrel connector can't handle 48v. Any help here would be appreciated.
