no supported channels for 80+80Mhz

Sun Feb 12, 2023 2:12 am

Just cannot set channel width to 20/40/80+80Mhz on my hAP AX2.
As soon as I set this width it keeps saying "no supported channels", regardless of which channels are selected.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated

By the way, I can not check which channels are allowed. wifiwave2 seams does not have a command listed in wiki
[admin@MikroTik] > /interface/wifiwave2 info country-info "Ukraine"
bad command name info (line 1 column 22)

When selecting 160MHz I think DFS channels are required. And, there are only two options for a 160MHz bandwidth: 5170MHz - 5330MHz or 5490MHz - 5650MHz.
I have absolutely no experience with this, but I assume you should change frequency and allow DFS channel first.

And from the documentation I would leave the frequencies default (empty) and the skip-dfs-channels default (disabled):

Not sure why they don't hide the option, the chip doesn't support 160mhz at all as far I know.

Try entering the command as written in the wiki, without the quotes
/interface/wifiwave2/info country-info Ukraine

See what frequencies are supported and set the auto frequency selection.
/interface/wifiwave2/radio print detail

PS /interface/wifiwave2/info

Checked it, there is no info menu. The wiki is inaccurate.

Re: no supported channels for 80+80Mhz  [SOLVED]

Tested on AC3 and AX3:
/interface/wifiwave2/info country-info doesn't work anymore since 7.7
They still did not fix it.

/interface/wifiwave2/radio print detail does show something but not the same.
