LTE - NO Internet Access

Mon Mar 06, 2023 10:07 am

Hi, I have a Mikrotik LHG LTE antenna and a Mikrotik Hap Ac Lite and these are the equipment that I had installed when moving into my house.

My issue is that I do not have any internet access (ethernet and wireless) coming out of the Hap Ac Lite and wondering if you guys with experience with these equipment can take time out in getting me back online.

I will link the previous thread I setup here with the configs of the LTE and the Hap Ac.

thanks.

what I forgot to mention in the previous thread was that I was able to access the LTE with IP address : 192.168.1.254 and the Hap Ac Lite with IP address : 192.168.1.1 before the Hap Ac Lite was reset.

Plug your latpop into the LTe 18 and make sure you get internet there first........... if you feed nothing to hap, hap will show nothiing.

That's a good first step to make sure the LTE part is working.

But I think it's using ether5 on the hAP-lite - you need the PoE BUT by default it's part of the LAN. But the LHG would also be a router by default, but it should be a WAN. So I think you got two routers handing out DHCP etc., with only one have a valid route out.

If you're running the defaults, the change the hAP-lite into a bridge mode in QuickSet ("WISP AP" I believe in top left, the configuration as "Bridge"). That might get you going. You can do this in reverse too, that case be similar to one I posted with the hAP-lite for a boat (think LHG instead of Groove, rest is same):
