We serve Internet Customers through a layer 3 VRF . We have two upstream providers who are connected to routers at two different POPs. One provider is primary and the other is backup. We have been unable to get redundancy to work in Router OS v7 because when default routes are passed on to other PEs, they appear as copied routes with distance 0. So if PE 1 generates a default route into bgp, it is appears in PE2 , PE 3 and PE 4 as copied route with distance 0 , instead of IBGP route with distance 200. This does not happen in ROS V6 routers. The routes are correctly learnt as 200. How can we get ROSv7 to learn the routes in the VRF as IBGP routes instead of copied static routes?
