CRS317-1G-16S+RM SFP+ routerOS issue

Thu Aug 15, 2019 11:44 am

Hi all,

hope you can help me shed some light on this. I recently got this box as the first Mikrotik I've owned. Eager to try it out I plugged in some intel 10GSR SFP+ (FTLX8571D3BCV-IT) modules, which swOS instantly recognised and negotiated a link at 10Gbps - iperf tests show that indeed I'm getting a 10G link through the switch. Nice.

However, if I boot the box into routerOS, no link. Only when I switch off auto negotiation, and force the link speed to 10,100 or 1000 Mbps I get a 1Gbps connection (even though routerOS claims it's either 10,100 or 1000). Forcing the interface speed to 10G or anything else results in no link. The optics get recognised just fine:

Both swOS and routerOS are the latest stable releases (2.9 and 6.45.3 respectively). Any suggestions on how to fix this or is this a routerOS bug?

Same here, working in MikroTik SwOS Lite v2.14 on CSS610-8G-2S+. But I can not get the FTLX8571D3BCV-IT to work on RouterOS 7.7 or 7.8 on CRS310-1G-5S-4S+
