Hap ax2 (C52iG-5HaxD2HaxD) it is a factory defect?

Sun Apr 09, 2023 12:44 pm

I saw that many hap ax2 users complain about the problem of random disconnection of both wifi networks (2.4 and 5Ghz). Reconnection does not recover by itself, only after a reboot. I have the same problem. All the settings I made did not solve the problem. Even updates from 7.6 to 7.7, 7.8, 7.9rc2 did not solve the disconnection problem. In the end, I understand that it is a hardware failure. Mikrotik support avoids and does not give any concrete answer for software solution. What to do?

I send it, but what do I put in its place? And I want to see if someone from Mikrotik support bothers to give an answer....

They don't... I have returned 2 of my ax2 and one was "repaired" with no information on what was "repaired"

I put back my trusty old cAP ac but im looking into WiFi 6 alternatives (probably Ubiquiti) as i can't buy another ax3 because they are out of stock for who knows how long...

If you can, buy ax3, i have one as my main router and it works so much better then ax2, at least for me.

I need a small one (I have a fixed place for the router), without external antennas, like hap ax2. Ax3 has large dimensions and external antennas.
