CSS610-8G-2S+IN and SFP modules

Wed Jan 04, 2023 1:12 pm

Hi,
I just bought a new CSS610 and the MikroTik S-35/53LC20D SFP pair. When i place the SFP modules in the switch, it looks like if they aren't recognized by the switch. The modules aren't working in a HP Procurve or Cisco Catalyst 3750 eighter. At the moment there isn't a fiber cable connected but i expect that the modules are displayed in the switch interface (see attachment).

Does anybody have a tip or solution or should i send the modules back?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Remon

Did you got any news on your SFP Problem ?

I have a similar problem where S-35/53LC20D rev 1.0 ( manufacture date 22-09-16 ) with the new Mikrotik logo don't work on netPower 7R ( CSS610-1Gi-7R-2S+ running SwitchOS 2.14 ) but work perfectly on CCR and and CRS ( other devices running RouterOS not SwithOS ).

But on my side the SFP is show, it show RX Power, but the link never get " UP ".

And if I switch S-35/53LC20D rev 1.0 for some rev 01 ( manufacture date 19-12-05 ) with the old Mikrotik Logo, the same link work perfectly on booth RouterOS and SwitchOS device.
