So, i followed the setups to the letter, multiple times.

when using the cloud and configuring the Loopback interface i come across this problem when i try to connect the loopback to the Mtik.

=> Server error from 127.0.0.1:8000: Mikrotik-1: NIO of type nio_generic_ethernet is not supported

if i instead connect to a cisco i have no complaints.

I tried putting a switch in the way instead with two Mtiks then attached to the switch but as long as i have the that loopback attached to the switch nothing that is attached to that switch can ping until i disconnect the loopback.
