transfer CHR trial Licence

Mon Sep 26, 2016 4:19 pm

Hi! I have Installed routerOS CHR on hyper-v and activate trial license on "account1"...
Now I with to transfer this license to "account2" and upgrade it to p1, using account2 payment info.
When I try to simply change username and password in "renew license" nothing happens and I don't see trial key in account2 CHR keys
If I try to generate new ID and provide username and password of account2 error appeared: "this system id with old id already received license key"
So, is there a way to transfer license to another account?
Thanks in advance.

You can't do that. You must install the new system, log in with the other account, request trial from that account, then pay for the P1. You can't move between accounts.

Thanks for quick answer... Ok, so I need to backup and restore settings on new appliance regarding this manual: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Co ... Management
but does backup include license info? Can configuration be restored without license?

No it does not. Yes, you can move around config using export/import commands.

you can de-assign and re-assign CHR license within your own account, but can't move it to other peoples accounts.

Hi, Normis.
Still true? :)

Besides, I can't create an account in the service desk, registration didn't start - https://prnt.sc/tdu9nd
