Hotspot + User Manager + Paypal Configuration

Wed Oct 12, 2016 9:51 pm

Hi all,

I've been able to set up a payment gateway through paypal using Mikrotik's user manager. I have a routerboard Router OS V6.37

I have followed these pages in order to do so:

http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/User_Mana ... r_payments
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/User_Mana ... ot_Example

And also this guide for testing paypal payments: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=81153

Hotspot is working for wireless, If i create users manually everything is ok, but I am stuck in the following:

1. User connects to the hotspot.
2. User gets the sign on page and links over to the user manager sign on page.
3. User creates an account and selects paypal as the payment method. At this point an account is created in the user manager.
4. User is directed to paypal site, but instead of getting the normal CHECKOUT page, I get the account balance page.

This is the page I am looking for, after this, user should go to hotspot login page and use the credentials.

If someone can help me, I am willing to pay a fee for this service. Thanks.

You may try Waver SmartOne Hotspot Gateway, which is actually based on Mikrotik RouterOs.
It will handle everything for you regarding payments, email collection, sms, social login etc. Everything configurable through and an easy to use web interface!

Hi,
Waver SmarOne looks like a good solution but the downsides are:
- max. routing throughput 90/90MBit
- no access to RouterOS (for CAPsMAN or other stuff)
- no demo on website

cheers
