Too many "group key timeout" when using CAPSMAN

Fri Jan 20, 2017 6:51 am

I'm using CAPSMAN to provide wifi access. However, many iOS and Android devices disconnect very frequently with "group key timeout" in RouterOS log.
For legacy wireless ap, I can change group-key-update time to a longer one, but there isn't any way to change it in CAPSMAN.
Any solution?

You have to go to the terminal command line to change it or display the current value. "capsman security group-key-update"

Please add this to WinBox?

Thanks,

Hello. I've set group-key-update to 55 minutes. Also it's stated in manual that default value is 5 minues, so I can't get how this can be:
16:22:20 caps,info 28:CF:E9:01:2D:59@cap-MikroTik ST-hAP-AC-Lite1-1-1 connected, signal strength -50
16:22:24 dhcp,info mySSID deassigned 192.168.66.230 from 28:CF:E9:01:2D:59
16:23:50 dhcp,info mySSID assigned 192.168.66.230 to 28:CF:E9:01:2D:59
16:24:38 caps,info 28:CF:E9:01:2D:59@cap-MikroTik ST-hAP-AC-Lite1-1-1 disconnected, group key timeout
As you can see it's timed out two minutes after the connection established, also it had a good signal and got an IP via DHCP. Is there another timeout in key exchange that is out of our control?
