A few devices slipped though with slightly incorrect calibration data and shipments were stopped almost in time. Those few units can be fixed with a special package.

It is not "me too" problem. Another ISP have the same "bad" serial numbers 7F2407.... and 7F2406..... 60 pcs of bad RB922 and your answer is RMA this boards. :?

Hello,
Please contact a distributor, the company you bought the device from, and ask for RMA and further instructions.
You can refer to this ticket nr.: #2017072022000851

When that ticket was made, we did not have a package yet. Now we do. No need to send anywhere.

Are you joking? I has problem with 100 RB922. Where i can download fix packages? It is problem with probably new hardware series. New part with "r2" are bad! RB922 without "r2" after SN and part number are working.

Here is the Fix package: https://www.mikrotik.com/download/share ... 5_mips.dpk
Simply upload it and reboot, just like with any RouterOS package.
The fix will also be included in the next RouterOS updates. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

We are already in the process of contacting each customer individually.

If mass updating devices is not acceptable, you are welcome to follow the standard RMA procedure.

It looks like you're kidding from the users. First, you claim to have the boards sent to RMA. When I write on the forum, you will write that the problem concerns only a small number of pieces. Other users write that they have the same problem with 60pcs, 100pcs. Other defective pieces are definitely for distributors in stock.
And now we have firmware for repair...
You have reported the problem since 20.7.2017
Mikrotik should warn users in such cases. Thanks

20 july was four days ago, what are you implying?

I already posted the solution above. We only have the solution since less than 24 hours.

All the distributors have been informed. There are only 14 companies with such devices. I understand that getting 60 such devices is unfortunate, and a big percentage, but I can't provide a better solution.

And 14 companies is little? It will be hundreds of faulty devices.
I wanted to say that you could have put the information on this issue on the forum.
If I did not start this topic, nobody will know anything.

Hate to break this to you, but the forum is used by a very small group of enthusiasts only. Forum is not the main communication channel.
The recipients of these devices are being informed personally.

Special Fix for specific equipment, what about future updates for new firmware versions?
Can not ever upgrade to new versions?

By the way.

No, the fix is permanent and not affected by RouterOS version. Install only once and device will function even after reinstall.
