As far as I know, WhatsApp does not have an API. Telegram and Slack do provide API tools to do this, but not WhatsApp.

Whatsapp already had a API https://github.com/mgp25/Chat-API, you should try combine it with PHP RouterOS Api or combine it with unix systems and mail server

I use telegram bot, but this seems interesting.
I added "for receive notification on WhatsApp" etc.,
for be clear that I receive notification on WhatsApp as OP ask.

You can send notifications via Matrix...
Just added support for matrix in my scripts, see my signature for details.

None of my friends or family use Matrix. We only watch the movies.
On the other hand everyone I know has whatsapp or signal (hence rexetended's link to callmebot was exactly what Dr Neo ordered)

FYI I've just started kind of related topic viewtopic.php?f=9&t=176578 about https://healthchecks.io/ (or its selfhosted version) which provides over dozen pre-defined integrations to many messangers (virtually any webhook service integration can be used).

there is not a direct function to obtain ascii value from a character,
like A = 65, 2 = 50, "space" = 32
the array from 00 to FF (all possible 1 byte values) is needed to have the position,
and the other array have, for same position the translated value.
for example "A" still "A" on UTF-8 but € for example is 3 byte on UTF-8: E2 82 AC, and À is 2 byte: C2 A0

The function is called ASCIItoCP1252toUTF8 (default Windows Latin alphabet) and is a replacement of FuncCP1251toUTF8 (Cyrillic alphabet)
Because who write the function to send message on whatsapp with mikrotik script need a way to send Cyrillic characters by one OS that support only 7-bit alphabet,
instead the user @dadaniel need a way to send Latin characters like "perché, straße, françoise, ¿question?, mūžīgi MikroTik, € symbol, etc.)

Can someone please provide a complete script?

Mūžīgi MikroTik need conversion from codepage 1257 to be correctly writed on UTF-8

Now I understand the problem. That's why I prefer to always stick to the 27 letters of the alphabet and don't use any special characters.

I wanted to have a script that sends me a push message, e.g. with 10 failed logins.

With Pushbullet happens the same as with whatsapp, when I want to forward content of a received SMS, the Fetch gives error.

I guess it is because of the conversion problem from GSM7 to UTF-8 characters.

They should make me moderator again, I didn't miss one...
I had my methods...

And then often posts that can be seen clearly a kilometer away that are fake/copied from other forum/copied from other users/copied just on some previous post on same topic/ChatGPT are approved...
I understand that someone do not see the "hidden" things, but not even realizing that is approving bulls–t...

Just add to the php:
If user posts are less than 10:
Can't edit posts (but can ask mod to unlock the post with "report", if is needed)
Disable BBCode = no hidden text
Disable smiles (***) = no comment...
Do not automatically parse URLs = no hidden link by php board...

Done: all spam is gone except when moderator can not understand what are approving...
But even if it were approved, however it goes the spammer cannot subsequently edit the post to add spam...

Not to mention that then there are those who ask fake questions just to show you a screenshot on a site full of advertisements, or a video on youtube, just to earn on views...
