Thanks for the reply. Yes, am trying the firmware upgrade after ROS 6.47 upgrade - and have tested with 3 different SIMs from different MNOs all with same result.
Firmware is downloading via LTE, but not installing for some reason.
Firmware of ROS or boot-loader or lte modem firmware?
About ROS - you can download a npk package and do that manual.
About modem firmware - you can not use lte1 but give internet from other source to chateau via ether1 and that way try again.
Good that you report that to MikroTik support directly
Hi SiB,
Packages and Routerboard FW upgraded as per attachments.
I have also tried lte modem firmware download via my existing router with a fibre connection - the same problem persists - file downloads, and then fails with same error :
[admin@d+h-LTE-A] > /interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1

[admin@d+h-LTE-A] > interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=yes

[admin@d+h-LTE-A] > interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=yes
status: downloading via LTE connection: 69%
[admin@d+h-LTE-A] > interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=yes
status: downloading via LTE connection: 99%
[admin@d+h-LTE-A] > interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=yes
status: installing (3min to complete)
Ahh - it worked that time. I think it was a classic case of needing to reboot the unit and try again.
[admin@d+h-LTE-A] > /interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1
installed: MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v008
latest: MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v017
[admin@d+h-LTE-A] > interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 upgrade=yes
status: done
[admin@d+h-LTE-A] > /interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1
latest: MikroTik_CP_2.160.000_v017
Many thanks for your assistance anyway.
Take care,
Liam
