Good day all
I busy setting up erth3 DHCP Clint but I can't.
"couldn't add new DHCP client - can not run on slave interface"
we on 6.47 firmware on Mikrotik, how do you fix the port not to be a slave anymore?
What can I do?
I don't understand. I can do it on Ether 1 but I can't do it with Ether 3?Your port is member of a bridge. Put the dhcp client on the bridge.
Look in your "bridge" configuration, to the "ports" tab.I don't understand. I can do it on Ether 1 but I can't do it with Ether 3?Your port is member of a bridge. Put the dhcp client on the bridge.
I bit confusing to me, your text. Please elaborate...Thank you
I have removed the bridge 2 from ether3 and I got it working.
so either 2 network is on 192.168.1.0/24, ether 3 - I have a device that needs to get in the web interface that is in 192.168.0.1.
how can I get on to the web 192.168.0.1 on the client PC that is on 192.168.1.25
I just need to change the device IP to be on the same as the PC.
so how can I get to access to the device from the PC network. ip/firewall or ip/route
This is remote support, can't get to them.

PC is on 192.168.1.25 , connected to an Mkt interface with what IP?
Web interface is 192.168.0.1. The Mikrotik web? Or other web server?
Your Mikrotik is a router with multiple IP addresses. Most services on this Mikrotik are accessible through all the IP addresses of the router.
The Mikrotik will route traffic between 2 interfaces with different subnets. EG. 192.168.0.1/24 and 192.168.1.1/24 are the IP addresses. Devices in both subnets will find each other if the 2 interfaces of the Mikrotik are in the LAN interface list. (Routing is by default, and the "LAN interface list" allows connection in the firewall by default). Devices must have the router IP address in their own subnet as "gateway" for subnet interconnection.
If you have a device with the wrong IP address , that you know, you can temporarily add an extra IP address to the router (Mikrotik) in that devices subnet, for the interface it is connected on.
OK: I understand PC 192.168.1.25 - Mikrotik 192.168.1.1 (gateway to PC/ DHCP server) - Mikrotik ether3 192.168.0.x - wireless device 192.168.0.1 (DHCP server)so the people have put a wireless device in the roof but never done the setup, so its plug in the ether 3 port, and it has a DHCP 192.168.0.1/24.
I want to connect to the Wifi web interface that is on 192.168.0.1. The Mikrotik network is 192.168.1.0/24 where that PC on.
