It will bit earlier when you are on CET at 11:00 or GMT 10:00 (both still on summertime)

Advantage it will also be ready on a earlier time. ;-)

My shrink has recommended I take videos now while scrolling through threads, but only to be played when I suffer the worst withdrawal systems - start contemplating cutting the lawn.......

Msatter, didn't you get the memo, at least those that are MT certified did - we all use the same Zulu time. ;-PP\

Like the optional "prosilver" style, it's extremely important to have that! :)

So, on 9-11 we are going to update the forum. Great timing.

I remember it as yesterday that we sat in front a small TV in the firm with the staff looking, with disbelieve what was happening in New York.

I was in a MIL operations centre, standing stunned but realizing the shit was going to hit the fan big time when one of the video feeds clearly showed the second explosion was without doubt due to an airplane

This forum "hangs" again on that e-mail step. Not sending out notifications, and not going further after hitting "submit". The input is posted, but you have to come back to see it.
Link to mail server not migrated ????

Hmmm , here it worked! Fixed already?

Yes, hit or miss for me bpwl. Its inconsistent, just like configuring WIFI ;-)
It hangs for an original post but not necessarily for an EDIT.
They must have used the same folks assigned to wifi, to do the migration.

Darn I had to change my password because it needs now a capital and a number in it after the cleaning of the PHP/forum cache, I assume. Before that I could login.

If you have a problem during login you can contact the board administrator....yeah works great.

The board administrator contact page has been disabled.

Had to complete a captcha from Google that was not vissible to attempt to create a temp account to find out about the changed password settings.
Nice, and by the way Google is E V I L

Thanks for the heads-up for implementing this change.........what adventure is planned for the next weekend by Mikrotik?[/size]

Anybody not able to login you have to reset your password!

You now need to insert a capital and number in your new password.

After reading that the old passwords no longer work I've said to give it a try and I've logged out.
Well, indeed I had to reset the password since the old one no longer worked. And yes the old one had all the security strength requirements since I've reused the old password (yes, bad, I know, but hey, it worked.)
Worth looking into it, MikroTik.

I also had to reset my password, my previous password was also autogenerated by a password manager.

Same here. My password was invalid - it said. Used the "I forgot my password" link. "reset" my password to what it has been before - 4 capital letters, 4 lower case letters, 7 special characters, and 1 number - cryptic crap generated by my password manager.

Also had to do a reset, made much more difficult when you have to reset by email and not username! My password was also long, autogenerated by password manager. Reset accepted the same one without a problem.

Hello,

We're trying to register a new user for a mate. When we submit the registration form it takes about 30 seconds and then times out. Seems the server is not reaching google to verify the captcha.

Damn, now I remember how much I love the poster saying "readonly friday" in my office :P

Greetings and good work ;)

Password was not working. Had to reset. I read a lot of other people's posting and do not write that frequent. But, I have to say that MikroTik is failing to communicate to us some of the changes. If you tell us that a new policy for passwords will be implemented that will be fine. But come on... why we have to figure it out after the fact? Respectfully, this is just a constructive criticism. I do know this hard work.

If password does not work and @krisjanis was upgrading the PHP version, there is likely different hashing algorithm. I mean... it shouldn't be because afaik each hash has short prefix announcing what algorithm is used, but I can imagine that phpBB forum detected new PHP version and forced different algorithm. The only other explanation I have is they used shared salt for all passwords and lost it... Which seems highly unlikely.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused, but yes, this is a good opportunity to upgrade your password and set a better one. You will have to request a password recovery link and set a good password. I suggest using a password manager.

Please stop implementing/releasing things at the end of the week or in the weekend because we have to wait then till the next week starts before Mikrotik can start fixing things!

In my 20 years of experience with PHP and phpBB, I've never ever seen users' password stop working because of a PHP version change.

So was this sudden "migration and maintenance" some type of compromise which MikroTik failed to inform us about?

They release it on fridays, so those who want to test over the weekend can. I myself enjoy it. :)

Remember the Readonly-Friday rule.
Never update/upgrade your productive systems on a friday unless you have tested everything or the update *must* be deployed at once due to security issues.

Did MikroTik forum team forgot to change back their HTTP redirection from forum.test.mt.lv to forum.mikrotik.com ?
When i type the address without https on it the redirection goes to forum.test.mt.lv

Small miss configuration here, i think :D

is the help site down?
My hAP lite rebooted and failed to come up so I pulled the power cord to get it back up and made a support.rif but can't get into the service desk page, just get a spinning circle.
This happens on the sign up and resister pages, tried 2 browsers on one PC and one on a 2nd PC.
