I have built a lab where I have a ESXI 7.0.0 server running off a Dell R820 with 32 CPUs x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-4640 0 @ 2.40GHz
The server has Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter XL710-QDA2 network card.
The CHR for some reason does not detect the 40G port. The VM Nick I am using is VMXNET 3.
The CHR displays the following when I look at the ethernet internface.
I have tried forcing the link to 40G by disabling auto negociate and still getting this same result.
I know the router is working fine.
When I do a btest to localhost I get the following results.
But when I run a btest between 2 CHR's on the same hardeware I am not able to get more than 10G.
And I feel this is a issue with the CHR not being able to set the port higher then 10G.
So asking for some help out there to figure out why the CHR is not able to change the NIC to 40G.
