Message column disappeared in WinBox Log window

Sun Nov 08, 2020 8:48 pm

Hi MT experts,

My Message column in Log windows somehow vanished. Ne mater if I tick and un-tick 1000 times and login and logout I cant bring it back.

Version on WinBox is 3.27.

It behaved strange when I resize it the other day. Maybe there is some config file or regex value that I could bring back width or coordinates if it is out of range?
Appreciate any hint!

Cheers

Re: Message column disappeared in WinBox Log window  [SOLVED]

Mon Dec 07, 2020 9:31 am

Thanks bpwl on your replay, but that post didn't help. I cleared the cache many times and... nothing. :)
But what did help is that I cleared complete folder "c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mikrotik\Winbox\". Maybe it would be enough to just delete c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mikrotik\Winbox\settings.cfg.viw, but that I'll try some other time.

Hope this hepls to others.

Regards,
Nemanja

Had run into the same problem. It is perfecly sufficient to delete c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mikrotik\Winbox\sessions\<IP address>.viw to drop damaged session file.
