You can create a supout.rif and send it to support@mikrotik.com or https://mikrotik.com/support

According to Openwrt Rooter firmware, the Fibocom L850-GL supports MBIM mode:
https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/3vx1k1r3-17
MBIM mode using the ATG+USBMODE=7 command
Is this possible from the Mikrotik Terminal?

What's the news since then? How supported is fibocom l850 in Mikrotik today?

As far as I remember, /lte at-chat support is included in ROS for this modem, starting with ROS 7.11.2rc and the command above should work.

/interface lte at-chat lte1 input=ATG+USBMODE=7

@Sertik
from version 7.11 in the changelog it says this

*) lte - added "at-chat" support for Fibocom L850-GL modem; so it should be compatible .

If you can though look for a 5G modem as it has bandwidth priority over the bts repeater ,and so with an LTE module you would always have lower performance.

There is no 5G in Russia. :D :D :D So far only fairy tales or tests.

sertik,
I thought you also , you have 5G DSS which is a very bad system that basically uses the LTE band and gives priority of use to 5G devices . Basically a fake 5G :?
PS the fibocom L850-GL can be found at 740 rubles really affordable!|

Help please: I have a Fibocom L850-GL modem, usb3 adapter and RB5009 (ROS 7.13.5). When I connect the modem to the router - LTE interface does not appear, in system/resource/usb the modem is visible, in ports/usb it is written in red usb1 and port inactive. No AT commands can be entered.
On PC the modem works, it connects to the network. Modem mode is MBIM.
The following is written in the logs: lte2 mbim: error: wdm send failed: 19
Modem firmware version: 18500.5001.00.05.27.16
Should I upgrade the modem to some other firmware version? Or what else can be done?

you have to use a pci-e usb2.0 adapter the pinout on usb3 adapters does not power the modem.

This modem is m2... If I connect it via usb-hub with external power supply, will the problem be solved? I connected it to hAP ac², with the same adapter - it works fine there (hAP ac² has usb2 port). Or the usb3 port on RB5009 does not provide normal power? Another modem (tried G/4G M.2 Quectel EM12-G) - works fine on the same adapter.

I can't tell you exactly why certain adapters with usb3.0 connector connected to the router's usb3.0 don't work.I also had the same problem (with em160 modem), I replaced the 'adapter with a usb2.0 one and it worked.Try it cost a few euros on aliexpress

It is possible to try it, but then the usb3 is meaningless. Support advised to isolate pins - also as an option to try. Or try different modem firmware.
And so most likely incompatibility with ARM 64.

yes it doesn't make sense, try updating the firmware first (I only found the update tool but not the update file) then try a different usb2 adapter , covering the pins with tape doesn't seem like a good solution to me.

Here is a small guide to the firmware - https://radenku.com/upgrade-firmware-fi ... l-l860-gl/.
There is a link to the firmware catalog and how to extract the firmware.
