SXT LTE6 kit PoE out

Mon Nov 30, 2020 8:19 pm

Dear all,
I would like to confirm how the PoE out port of the SXT LTE6 kit works.
Does that port just provide the same voltage received in the PoE in port with the max current indicated in the brochure, or is there some way to select the PoE out voltage in the port configuration?

Practical case: the datasheet of the IP camera I am planning to plug to the PoE out port says: "PoE 802.3at, 42 to 57V, 0.5A to 0.1A, max. 17.5W"
I understand that I will have to replace the 24V default power supply of the SXT with a 48V one (e.g. 48POW, 1.46A), connect it to the PoE injector and that will be all.

Thank you in advance

yes, you can.
easier is use a 48V PoE at/af adapter.

You read documentation ?
