Wed Sep 22, 2021 8:08 pm

Dear all
I'm planning to change my cisco Switch SG300-28PP 28-Port Gigabit PoE+ Managed Switch to MikroTik Switch at least 26 port PoE+ but with seam cisco specs because all Wi-Fi AP, phone,PBX and security cameras work with PoE+

any recommendation from you

With Regards

If you need more then 24 poe-out ports in one device, then, currently, the only option is CRS354-48P-4S+2Q+RM

thanks for all
but i don’t think to change from cisco to mikrotik switch because i have hEX PoE port 2 to 5 poe out and hEX S port 5 poe out but none of them are really providing poe out i’ve test the with ip phone and AP both of them are support poe and when i connect them none of them are working that means there is an issue with poe in mikrotik device so i plan to buy a new cisco device that really provide poe out for all 24 ports

best regards

What do you mean with "..none of them are really providing poe out.."?
What devices are you trying to power, what are their poe-in specification? What PSU are you using?
Please read the device specification before the purchase: The ports 2-5 can power other PoE capable devices with the same voltage as applied to the unit.

If you are sure that you are using a proper setup and the hEX PoE might be defective, please, do not hesitate and write to support@mikrotik.com

You need to use 48V adapter, not standard 24V which is delivered with hex devices.
