Hi All,
Long time browser and I can't remember if I posted in the past.
My setup is a single router connected aussie NBN which gives a static IP and gateway but router is set up as DHCP client assigned to ether1.
I recently purchased a second static IP2 on the same line so ether1.
I have a FreeBSD server running host and a jail which both connected via separate network cards to the router within same subnet 10.0.0.0/24.
I run webservers on both host and jail.
I like to forward the traffic from the IP2 WAN to the jail ip. The traffic goes through the router and the jail but when I checked for open ports from web I think the traffic is not returning to the requesting ip (web site).
All I done so far is assigning an address on the same ether1 for IP2 and routes for IP2.
What else Ineed to do to get the traffic back to the website so it can see the port 80 is actually open.
