3D Printing file of Mikrotik Antennas

Sat Oct 16, 2021 5:22 pm

From someone or Mikrotik itself, is it possible to receive 3D print file for some antennas like LHG5?

I am curious to know why you want the 3D-Print Files ?
Did something break on your device ?

Quick analysis LHG5 for 3D-Printing

Part 1: Main Dish
- Can only be printed on a 3D-Printer with a Bed of min 400x400 cm (most printers are 230x230cm)
- Dish attachment point needs to be modified for 3D-Printing or moved to a seperate component.

Part 2: Primary Antenna-Arm (with Router)
- Difficult to print without any modification (needs a lot a support-Material)
- May have to separated in two components (Arms and receiver-hub)

Part 3: Secondary Antenna-Arms
- Easy to print without any major modification

1. You can sell LHG modules
2. You can use other parabolic antennas for these modules.
3. You will not be able to print the LHG antenna on your printer.
You can only print if your printer can print the metal base of the antenna.
