Help for a beginner

Tue Oct 19, 2021 7:08 am

I had disabled all the interfaces under the interfaces tab, and now my wifi is down. How do I get back to the settings to re enable them, considering I don’t have any connection?

ALL the interfaces? Including physical ethernet ones?

If so - if it is a device with console access, you'd have to go through that.

Failing that, capture netinstall/routerboot menu usually through ether1 (again this depends on model) which may let you pull the config

but without console access to re-enable I believe you'll be factory resetting and restoring from latest config backup.

Winbox MAC access might still work but I doubt it if all interfaces are REALLY disabled (why on Earth would you do that ???).
Factory reset would be my first choice then as well. Netinstall is too much of a hassle and yields the same result.

And hopefully you saved your config prior to making that deadly change.
That's another reason why Safe Mode is to be used ...

Considering the circumstances, how would I reset it? I don’t have mikrotik hardware if that changes anything.

Oops! What device?

If all interfaces are really off, Netinstall will be your only choice.
