RouterOS Port Security Sticky

Thu Dec 02, 2021 7:17 pm

Hi,

We need to restrict learned mac addresses per port on CRS326 using RouterOS. This was a feature in CRS1xx/2xx, and apparently is a feature in CRS326 using SwOS (Port Lock->Lock on first>. However, SwOS is too limited in other areas for us, so we use RouterOS on these devices.

Is there no way to do this using RouterOS on these devices?

Thank you

Has there been any update on this issue? Mikrotik switches check all the boxes as far as features for what I need except this one, (while running RouterOS.)

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks but that has nothing to do with the question at hand, so not sure why you would post.

It is not the same, indeed. (Learn and Lock on first MAC). But for me that's the place where I would seek switch-chip functionality in RouterOS. (In the Switch menu)
Manually setting the MAC address for the Lock is apparently what comes closest to what SwOS can set on this switch-chip.
