More an information post - it is now working
1 x CRS312-4C+8XG-RM (RouterOS: v6.49.2)
2 x CSS610-8G-2S+IN (SwOS Lite: 2.14)
6 x cAP lite (RouterOS: v6.49.2)
System
We have a CRS312-4C+8XG-RM as the core switch running CapsMan. 2 x CSS610-8G-2S+IN as edge switches. One connected with copper 1gb, one over fiber. 2 x cAPLite on each switch. Multiple SSID and VLANs shared accross all 6 cAPLites.
Provisioning via CapsMan worked.
Issue
Main switch log
caps, error removing stale connection [::ffff:10.10.2.14:51092,Run,[4C:5E:0C:A6:AC:FF]] because of ident conflict with [::ffff:10.10.2.14:39660,Join,[4C:5E:0C:A6:AC:FF]]
cAP lite log ( 2 cAP's on the fiber connected switch) - repeats every few minutes
06:45:39 caps, info CAP sent max keepalives without response
Result: WiFi is unusable on these 2 cAP's, resets every few minutes.
Connecting to an ethernet port on the switch where the cAP's are installed works without issue.
This only happens to the two cAP's connected to the switch that has the fiber connection. All other cAP WiFi's work.
All running the latest RouterOS, SWOS.
Finding the issue
Updated all the devices to the latest OS's. (RouterOS: v6.49.2, SwOS Lite: 2.14)
Swapped the 1gb SFP modules to new 10gb SFP+
Followed many suggestions from the forum\web for similar issues ( Firewall not enabled )
No errors apparent on the fiber connection or SFP's
Fix ! - desperately trying anything
Changed the combo port on the core switch CRS312 from Auto to SFP.
System has been rock solid since.
