Queues performance

Sun Dec 12, 2021 9:09 am

Hi!

I'm using CCR1072-1G-8S+ and I have 2Gb uplink. I have a dozen firewall and NAT rules. Without any queues created I have 2Gb on speedtest. But if I create a queue like following
/queue simple add max-limit=1750M/1750M name=queue queue=pcq-upload-default/pcq-download-default target=sfp-sfpplus4
I can hardly achieve 1Gb on speedtest either from one PC or from multiple clients together.
CPU and IRQ seem to be less loaded then without queue. Disabling all firewall, nat and mangle rules does not help. According to https://mikrotik.com/product/CCR1072-1G ... estresults, 2Gb should not be a problem for this hardware. I tried different queue sized and configurations, and did not achieve any reasonable performance.

Could you please advise me what am I doing wrong?
