DUAL WAN, Data & VoIP

Wed Dec 15, 2021 11:31 am

Hi,

I have a setup with an ISP that provides us separate connections for data and VoIP

So, they installed a fiber connection with a Teldat router that outputs internet connection via port 1 and VoIP (colud based, only SIP phones in the office) via port 2.

I have a Mikrotik router after the Teldat and they configured a routed LAN and it works without issues for internet conectivity using the port 1 of the Teldat as WAN in the Mikrotik.

Now I need to conect the VoIP and need help for that. The VoIP phones are in the same physical segment and configured with fixed IPs and a different class, I use 172.16.1.x for data and the phones are in 192.168.0.x. I can't recofigure the phones as they're from the ISP and are blocked, but they showed me the config.

So, as conclusion, how to mix the data and voip?

Thank you in advance
