Hello together,
there´s an issue I don´t know how to approach. I´m setting up a new network, which ist splitted for... reasons. So, the circumstances
- shitty ISP router for network A that can´t even set static IPs in its DHCP "config" ... 192.168.10.2. Also connected to the internet.
- notebook in network A, sometimes connected via cable, sometimes via WLAN ... 192.168.10.xxx
- RB2011, connected to the ISP router for WAN, making network B ... 192.168.10.1xx in network A, 192.168.111.1 in network B
- printer, connected via LAN to the RB2011 ... 192.168.111.155
Now, how can make the notebook in network A work with the printer in network B without making it an internet-wide asset? My basic firewall knowledge seems insufficient or I´m thinking too complicated. All my NAT attempts failed. Ideally the connection to the printer from network A would only work for the MAC of the notebook... anybody got an idea?
Didn´t setup much other, yet. Current firewall config is out-of-the-box. Basic DHCP config. Guest WLAN via VLAN.
thanks in advance
