tool/fetch HTTP headers override

Fri Dec 24, 2021 3:11 pm

Hi. It is mostly a feature request. Could we have an ability to forcibly override any HTTP headers that are generated and sent by fetch tool? I have peace of hardware that is not fully RFC compliant in regards of HTTP standards. It does not accept "content-length" (lower-case), but only "Content-Length" variant. Fetch behavior seems to be changed in v7 against what it was in v6. My scripts stopped working after upgrading to v7 because now fetch can't retrieve data. Fetch in v6 was generating a "Content-Length" form of that.
I've tried to specify "Content-Length" in exactly that "casing" on the cli, but it does not work with this particular header. Request is sent always with that field name in lower-case.
So I decided to ask about ability to override any HTTP header, prioritizing params specified with http-header-field over internally generated.
I think it can give even more flexibility to users. And will fix my problem :D
Thank you in advance.
