load balancing - softether

Tue Dec 28, 2021 8:58 pm

hi,
I have a particular load balancing situation.
a client (TapClient) activates a VPN tunnel with softether behind a Mikrotik router, the softether server is a VM in the cloud (TapServer).
softether's VPN tunnel uses a changeable number of connections (e.g. 8).
what I would like is to use the WAN connections I have available, if I have two connections I would like to make 4 connections on WAN1 and 4 connections on WAN2.
I tried with the PCC method with connection mark and subsequent routing mark, the connections are distributed on the two providers but the packets do not flow correctly, without PCC I have the 8 tcp connections in "established", while if activete the PCC goes in "syn received" then in "lost ack" then after few seconds the connection drops.
since I would like to use the PCC only for this tunnel, I have bound the two mangle rules with source address the VPN client and dest address the VM in the cloud, is it possible that other connections or packets that I lose are involved?
thank for any ideas
