Duplicate MAC on different VLANs

Sat Jan 08, 2022 12:01 am

I have a few devices with duplicate MAC address but are on different VLANs which should be okay but my MikroTik routers are getting confused.
Routers : CRS 317-1G-165+
RouterOS v6.45.9
There are two units, one in each location in the same building connected with fiber trunks.
There are various VLANs which the routers are forwarding correctly for many months now. They are configured under Interface -> VLANs. Although the traffic bandwidth doesn't seem right. The interface traffic shows some ports with MB/s bandwidth but nothing even close to that in the VLAN config page.
Under bridge -> VLAN nothing is configured there.
I'm use to HP switches which are much easier to configure.
When I look at Switch -> Host, everything seems to appear on VLAN 1 which is impossible. Nothing is on VLAN 1.
Where do I configure the tagged/untagged VLANs for each port. Under Bridge -> VLAN this can only be done for the enter bridge, not per port???
There are 16 ports SFP, bonded into 8 pairs.
Does the router support multiple MAC tables per VLAN ?

Any ideas?

Thanks,
