Happily updated my RB5009 to 7.2rc2 today and discovered that I had no access across my WireGuard site to site connection. Another user indicated that he had to disable queues in order to get internet access using 7.2rc2. I had a fq_codel queue for my WireGuard interface. Upon disabling it, my connectivity was immediately restored. When I tried to apply the same queue to my WAN interface, I lost all internet connectivity. Removing the queue fixed that.
I wanted to see if the issue was just fq_codel so I tried a couple of the other types (default-small and Ethernet-default) and those broke my connectivity as well. So, it appears that 7.2rc2 can only be used if no queues are active. I changed nothing in my config from 7.1.1 to 7.2rc2. Everything works as expected in 7.1.1. Take it away MikroTiK!
