7.1.1 l3hw lock up after server reboot

Thu Feb 10, 2022 5:27 pm

Hello

I am using ECMP configuration on my home lab server with L3HW enabled on my mikrotik switches (CRS309 and CRS 305). After I updated firmware on the switches to 7.1.1 they were quite stable (before that one of them used to get stuck because of that >=7 VLANs issue I believe)
Recently I needed to reboot the servers, and 2 out of 3 servers were not able to communicate after the reboot with the symptoms similar to this earlier >=7 VLAN issue (communications stuck). Disabling and re-enabling l3hw on the switch resolved the issue, so it looks quite sure that it was related to l3hw... It only happened on my CRS309, which is also used for routing other subnets (CRS305 is only used for the routing between the servers).

Just wondering if Mikrotik can check if the issue with >=7 VLANs may still be present when a host reboots (I guess when the port on the switch goes down and then up)?
