Importing Private key via scripting (ROS6 vs ROS7)

Wed Mar 02, 2022 6:35 pm

Hi,

Something has changed from ROS6 to ROS7, when importing a private key, there is no longer an option to specify a passphrase along with the private key file to be imported.

If I try omit it, it will fail and state "Script Error: this command required user input"

Is there any workaround for this? I can't seem to find anything about this anywhere.

In ROS6, it used to be possible to import a key pair in the same line as well as specifying the passphrase, but now no longer. The command used to be like this:
/user ssh-keys private import passphrase="" private-key-file="privatekey.txt" public-key-file="publickey.txt" user="Someone"
What is the equivalent in ROS7?

Thanks in advance
