Since updating to the 7.2 release candidate on one of our devices, the web interface has been super slow. Can't seem to attach pictures to this post, but loading the login page after a cache clear looks like this in my browser inspector's network tab:
- GET / 6.90KB / 8602ms
- GET mikrotik_logo.png 3.69KB / 190ms
- GET winbox.png 7.48KB / 14523ms
- GET console.png 6.31KB / 43282ms
- GET green.png 5.97KB / 43620ms
- GET license.png 5.38KB / 30188ms
- GET help.png 7.28KB / 29926ms
- GET favicon.png 1.59KB / 21788ms
Subsequent page loads are quicker (the PNG files seem particularly bad) but still unacceptably slow. E.g. the System/Packages page takes 10-15 seconds before showing me the installed version. Checking for updates takes about 30 seconds. SSH access is unaffected – doing the same actions on CLI is near instantaneous as expected – and traffic through the device is running fine. It's an RB2011UiAS rev2 with 7.2rc5 software and firmware running on it. Same behaviour was seen in RC 1 and 2 as well. I've tried clearing out cache/cookies/local data store on my browser to no effect. Anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions for a fix?
