CRS504-4XQ-IN 100g Configuration

Tue Jul 05, 2022 2:57 pm

Hello,

I have a CRS504-4XQ-IN.
I connected it with a CRS354 over 40G DAC cable.
To do that I set qsfp28-4-1 to qsfp28-4-4 to 10G each, disable auto-negotiation

Now I want to connect a linux server using 100G. I got an Intel E810 and the linux drivers installed.
However on the RouterOS side I only get no link, on the Linux side I get
enp9s0f1: Invalid link configuration.
Would I need to set all of the 4 ports (qsfp28-3-1 to qsfp28-3-4) to 25G each? Is that correct?

I tried the mikrotic DAC and a cisco-compatible DAC and I am unsure on where to look for the problem.

Thanks
Daniel

I now tried another Intel E810 under esxi, I also tried another DAC-Cable and Mikrotik XQ+31LC02D with the same result.

EDIT: Intel E810<>Intel E810 DAC works perfectly.

Hi, i have the same Problem with E810 NICs.
I have test with MikroTik DAC, Intel DAC ans various QSFP28 Transceiver.
Between NICs and between Switches, all DAC ANF Trasceiver Works fine.

Do you have a Solution?
