DynaDish 5 PtP connection not working...

Hi.

Ok I probably have made some stupid mistake somewhere, but I can't find it....

I have purchased 2 DynaDish 5 dishes. Both were factory set as station.

One is attached to an isolated computer. I accessed the Web Front-End there and left the settings as they were (at station). I just entered PSK2 details.

The other one is attached to the main network. I accessed the Web Front-End (of the second dish) there and changed "station" to "bridge". I saved the PSK2 credentials.

After that the connection was established. Both dishes show strong signal and Wireless -> Registration shows the connected Client. If I click on it, it also reports the correct IP of the remote dish under "Last IP".

So all should work, shouldn't it?

I can't ping the second dish. Not from my computer, neither via Tools -> Ping. BUT when I do a Tools -> Ping -> MAC Ping, I get a reply.

What could I have missed?

The whole network is in 10.0.0.0/8 and every device has a unique IP, so it can't be a routing issue?

You probably need station-bridge on one end and bridge on the other

Wow that was fast and yes, that was my mistake. Thank you very much. I wonder why that "station" more exists. Seems useless to me but a good trap if you just want to configure it as a station....
