Troubleshooting a memory leak in ROS v7.x

Mon Aug 08, 2022 1:47 pm

Hello!
I seem to have an issue with a HEXs on ROS7.5beta, which I am using for Capsman and The Dude only. It has two bonded interfaces connected to a switch, but it is not doing any routing or anything else like DHCP, DNS, VPN currently.
Apart from turning on debug logs & generating supout for the MT support, is there something I could do to identify what process is the culprit?
I can´t just disable the Capsman or the Dude, they are in use.
I have enabled resource graphing and I see memory consumption is steadily growing. As I had to leave that box there, without the ability to access it, I have scheduled a reboot every day. It works OK.
I don´t see a similar issue on my RB5009 or HAPmini, but they are lab devices only.

I know I could go back to 7.4 or 6.49, but that´s not my goal here.

Is there really nothing one can do to determine wether it´s a CapsMan or a Dude issue or maybe something else? (Apart from removing one of them)
I know of /routing/stats/process, but I could not find anything useful for other kinds of processes.
