IPv6 Firewall NAT NETMAP to-address missing

Fri Aug 19, 2022 8:01 pm

With the current Version of WinBox (3.37) in the IPV6 Firewall NAT window, if you use the NETMAP Action the "to-address" field is missing. But you have to use it if you want to create this entry.

If you create this rule with the Command Line the NETMAP is not working.

Is this a known issue? When will this be fixed?

I'm using ros v7.7, the netmap is configueable but when doing nat, only the first ipv6 address is used.
Like:
netmap 1:2:3:4::/64 to 4:3:2:1::/64, all ipv6 addresses will be snat to 4:3:2:1:: , no matter what source address is.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant by "it doesn't work". IPv6 prefix translation is an important feature when it comes to using IPv6 in companies. I wonder why MikroTik is not more behind this...

This seems to be fixed in 7.8beta2.
*) firewall - fixed netmap range maximum address calculation for IPv6 NAT;
Also it is working perfectly on my RB5009 with 7.8beta3.
